My Baby Sister is Married!

My little sister, Julie, tied the knot in Nashville this past weekend. She looked more beautiful and happy than I have ever seen her. We started the weekend with a bridal luncheon Friday afternoon at the Nashville City Club, thrown by my Aunt Susan. Everyone had a good laugh (and sometimes a few tears) telling stories about Julie.

The view for the beautiful room my aunt reserved!

The church my sister chose was over a hundred years old and looked gorgeous the day of the wedding in the candlelight. Here are some pics from the rehearsal.

I was ready extra early the day of the wedding so that I could go to the salon and help my sister. My sister is naturally beautiful so it didn't take much to make her look gorgeous for her big day.

My sister and a few of her bridesmaids and good friends, Laura and Rachel, at the church.

J.R. was nice enough to stand out in the chilly weather to get a few pictures of the bridal party while the professional photographer was taking a few. What a good guy:)!

My dad and the bride:)

Julie, Seth and my grandmother:)

My mom, my sister and me:)

The pretty alter from my grandmother's point of view:)

We left the camera in the room for the reception, but I will post a link to the professional photographer pictures when they are available. We danced until the DJ left at midnight. It was a great night!

The marriage certificate was signed the next day! It's official, my baby sister is a married woman!!!!

UT vs. Auburn Game and Pampered Chef Shower

I traveled home to East Tennessee this weekend for a Pampered Chef shower for my sister, thrown by my dad and stepmom's friends. My sister and I actually really love being around their friends because they are so much fun! I really hope J.R. and I have a group like them around us some day! They all tailgate before every University of Tennessee home game and we were fortunate enough to join them for the Auburn game on Saturday.

Julie and me with our Dad in his handsome UT shirt:)

Linda and Benny dressed in their UT orange best:)

These are some of the cutest, sweetest little boys I have ever been around! They are regulars at the UT games, and their Grandad, Richard, had the best shorts of the evening!

Neyland Stadium at night! My dad had some awesome seats for us. Thank you Daddy!

The traditional "T" tunnel

Our lovely orange nail polish to match the sea of orange in the stadium.

It was a little chilly!

Sunday we went to the Garner's beautiful home for the shower.

They had these cute paper heels that held M&M's in them!

I had never been to a Pampered Chef party, but it was really neat to watch the demonstrations! This was one of the finished products. I will be making it for J.R. soon hopefully:)

Believe it or not, the hostess made this in the microwave in 15 minutes! It was better than the "molton lava" cakes you can get at Chillis!

My stepmom's friend Peggy brought this cute little dog for everyone at the shower to sign.

The bride-to-be with the two hostesses, Kathy and Peggy. They did an incredible job!

Julie's beautiful friend Rachel, who will also be one of her bridesmaids.
