Good Friday Adventures 2010

Since J.R. was off of work today we took advantage of the 80 degree weather (retribution for one of the worst winters in the country) and ventured to Moraine State Park for a bike ride with Max.  We packed up the car, went by Petco to get a new harness for Max, and made our way out into the sunshine.

A little over a mile into the park, we realized the odds were against us for a successful bike ride.  J.R.'s pedal broke off of his bike, and Max looked like he was halfway to a heat stroke.  So, we turned around and headed back to the truck.  As we were leaving, we saw something you don't see everyday.  A biker was pulling into the parking area with his rottweiler riding in the side car, seriously!

We decided to take Max to a boat docking area nearby to cool him off and ended up playing in the water for the rest of the day.

We had a tired puppy by the end of the day, but all three of us thoroughly enjoyed the summer-like weather :-)
