A day at State College

J.R. was asked to represent his employer at a job fair on Penn State's main campus Wednesday.  I joined him for the drive down, and spent the day exploring the school and downtown area on foot.  The campus was quite a bit larger than I had anticipated, and it took a while to find my way, even with a map. It's a beautiful place to go to school, and it was fun feeling like a college student again for a day:)

While I was waiting for J.R. to finish, I stopped by the arboretum on campus and snapped a few pictures (the picture on the top right-hand side is the Allen Street Grill, a restaurant downtown where we stopped for a quick bite).

  3. What pretty pictures Jen! I like the top left and bottom one the most. I wish I could use them as the background on my computer! They are way better than the default ones it comes with!

  4. Hey Jen,
I use Photoshop Elements to scrapbook. I have version 5. I think they are up to version 8 now. There aren't too many differences usually from version to version, but if version 5 to 8 I would notice some changes most likely. It's up to you, but if you can find version 7, it would be cheaper and wouldn't have too many differences from version 8. I hope that helps!

  5. Thanks Kristen! I use elements to do all of my editing on my pictures. I actually have version 8, but I think it's incredible that you can make those layouts on here. Maybe I am not creative enough, but I have a hard time starting with a blank canvas. I am going to attempt it again though, after looking at your beautiful pages!
